Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign
The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to players developing strong opinions on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.
With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
Aries – Super Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many past Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Observe this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.
Cancer – Super Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.
Libra – Mega Audino
Observe this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them worry more about others.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
