The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The influential industry figure passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
