In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The mission centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Update

This update also adds the game's third free story addition, titled "The Enigma."
